During our hikes we usually take pictures.
When there's pictures, we publish them on Picasa Webalbums in a specific ap. You don't need to open Picasa and start a long search for our pictures. You can do that simply from within the articles on this website.
Normally we show one or more pictures in the articles themselves, just to illustrate the texts.
If that is the case, then simply position the cursor on the first or second picture in the article. You'll notice that the little arrow changes into a little hand. It means you can click that picture and the Picasa webalbum will be opened in a separate window or tab on your screen. Usually we also mention that in text in the article.
Some older articles don't have this possibility. That's simply because we didn't use Picasa when we started this website.
Example:
When you've opened the Picasa website from within the article 'Arquennes - Pont du Canal (les Culots)' you'll see this heading:
Click 'Diavoorstelling' (presentation). The pictures will be shown automatically one by one. Near the bottom of the screen you can indicate the time length in seconds for each picture to be shown. It's also possible to pause or stop the presentation.
Seen enough pictures? Simply close the Picasa window.
Pictures are copyrighted.
Normally we don't mind if you want to use or publish pictures from our website or from our Picasa Webalbums, as long as there's no commercial or inadmissible purposes involved. Simply be so kind to ask us. That's not a big effort and kind requests will normally not be refused.
If using a picture, please don't forget to mention our name and refer to this website.
