GR TRAILS GR MAP

Our map of GR trails

E-mail Print

The map below shows the long distance trails we hiked up to now.
Each trail has a different color. Position the cursor on a trail, click on it and the name of the trail will appear. There's also a link to the description of that particular trail. From there on you can navigate further to the topoguides and the individual hiking reports.

The map only shows trails that we hiked ourselves. If the name of a trail is accompanied by an asterix sign, that means we hiked that trail completely from start to end. No asterix means we're still hiking that trail (which may take years for some of them). In that case the map only shows the part we really hiked. This means that with each new hike, somewhere a trail will get a bit longer.

The lines representing the trails do not show the detailed itineraryl. They're composed of several pieces of straight lines, each representing one hike. For the details we have to refer you to the topoguides, the CD-ROM's and the gpx tracks, edited and published by the GR organisations themselves.

Ook mooie tochten in The Yorkshire Dales.

Many thanks for your fantastic site. I am considering walking the whole of the E2 (I just love the fact that I could start a walk in Scotland and end on the Mediterrainian) in the near future and you have a wealth of valuable information here on the Northern European stretches of the GR 5 and GR 5A. With your permission I would like to add this site to my blogs link page. Thank you once again for a fantastic site and resource Aaron (from Scotland)

Lange Wapper was a giant who - according to the legend - made the streets of Antwerpen unsafe.
Lately Lange Wapper showed up again in Antwerpen, but not as a legend anymore ... Let's hope the Antwerp people won't let themselves be pestered again by this tormentor.
