The north part of the GR 5A trail takes you from Antwerpen to Sluis along the border with the Netherlands. At Sluis the track turns towards Brugge and then heads for the coast. This northern part of the trail ends at De Panne near the border with France.
The regions of the creeks, Meetjesland and the polders still offer peace and quiet as well as vast open views, something that's becoming rare in busy Flanders. But also in the coastal region the GR 5A trail knows how to take you along the most interesting landscapes and biotopes.
