When hiking this path in 2008 - 2009, we used the topoguide that was available at the time. The booklet dated from 1991 (!). It didn't contain the numbered reference points like they're being used in the more recent topoguides. The little book looked like an antiquity: granular paper, limited colors, ... when we bought it we even had to cut loose a number of pages.

Contrary to what one would expect, the description of the trail still was surprisingly accurate. Of course there had been some changes in the course of the years, but they were well documented on the website www.groteroutepaden.be. 

But nothing lasts forever and the trail has been completely revised in 2011. A new topoguide has been published end of april 2012.
As a consequence, the reports on the hikes we made at the time will no longer match the new trail. Who knows, we might decide to repeat this trail in the near future. After all, it was one of the first GR trails we hiked in Flanders and that creates a special bond.
