We used the topoguide 'GR 5 Wallonië en Groothertogdom Luxemburg' (written in dutch language, edition April 2009). A french edition of this guidebook is also available. The topoguide covers the trail as it works its way through Wallonia and into the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg.
The trail starts in Kanne near Maastricht. This means there's a considerable overlap with the topoguide 'Trail of the Low Lands' between Maastricht and Liège.
That's why we start our hiking reports based on this topoguide only at Barchon near Liège. The preceding walks can be found with the topoguide 'Trail of the Low Lands'.
