The topoguide describes the GR 128 trail between Kemmel and Aalst (192 km).

Parts of this trail we hiked earlier on the GR 5A path.
This is the case with the first part between Kemmel and Palingbeek (18,5 km). What we reported on those kilometers can be found in the articles Kemmel - Wijtschate and Wijtschate - Geluwe.
Also the last kilometers between Steenbeek near Dendermonde and the hamlet of Rozen near Aalst (13,6 km) have been described under the hikes Herdersem - Baasrode and Denderhoutem - Herdersem.
